Uplands Railway Museum
Welcome to our display at our 47th appearance at the Bristol Model Railway Exhibition. We hope that the items on display rekindle those childhood memories of steam.
One of the items on display, this year, is the cabside from the Great Western Railway 2-8-0T no. 5203 together with a colour photograph of the locomotive at Caerphilly Works in April 1963. This shows the locomotive about to leave the works which turned out to be the last locomotive to be repaired at Caerphilly before the Works closed.
As usual we are always interested in purchasing items for the Museum. Please contact Michael Wyatt on Bristol (0117) 964 1977 or (0117) 977 7458 or speak to our representatives on the stand.

There will be leaflets about the Lynton & Barnstaple Railway on the stand but for more details please speak to Mark Bladwell on M & L Railway Books or see the website
