The full Malvern club membership meets but once a year for the days of the Bristol Model Railway Exhibition. Members are, or have been actively involved in the organisation of this exhibition, but many are modellers in the own right, with small groups from the club cooperating in their local areas. Members come from all over the country to do a variety of jobs including demonstrating, administration, stewarding and exhibiting their own personal layouts. Most members work in small local groups or with other folks to enjoy their modelling. New members are very welcome, especially if you have professional capabilities which would help in the administration of this Association or you are able to help at the exhibition. Easy terms are available on request!

The Donyatt Model Railway Group was established when some members did breakaway from Chard Modellers. This club still exists in Chard and run Charity events.  The breakaway group were first called Chard Diesel Group but we later changed the name to Donyatt MRG.
We consist of 6 members who get together to prepare our layouts for exhibition and lately make alterations to these or build a new smaller layout to meet exhibition restraints. We have no club nights or clubroom so unfortunately we can only provide interest to new member who see us at exhibitions and voice an interest in working on a large diesel based layouts.  We do have use of a hall that we can book for a weekend to try different running sequences.

The Forest of Dean Model Railway Club meets in the Parish Room, United Reformed Church, Drybrook Road, Drybrook, Gloucestershire GL17 9JE (up the steps alongside the Church).  Meetings are held every Monday and Friday from 1900 until about 2200 (except Christmas and Easter).
We are currently working on projects including British and American outline layouts in N, OO, O and SM32 gauges.  Our facilities include test tracks in N, OO and O gauges, and N and OO Rolling Roads and Wheel Cleaning facilities.  We also have a fully stocked kitchen for teas and coffees. There are modellers in the club with a wide range of skills, and they are always ready to provide help, training and instruction to anyone who asks.  We will happily discuss any aspect of railway modelling with anyone who wants to chat, or who hesitates too long in one place, and there is always a warm welcome awaiting visitors and prospective members alike (with a cuppa!)
So come along and see us; we do exactly what it says on the tin.  And there are further details, including how to find us, on our web site:
